Keep checking this site. Alma Rotary ended the year with a flurry of activity to benefit our kids. We will be posting pictures of these activities so check back often.

The dictionary distribution was a great experience for all involved and pictures will be up coming.

Alma Christmas Parade

Many thanks to the Alma Chamber of Commerce for putting together a great Alma Christmas Parade. Thanks to to all those who participated in the parade.

Don't forget: If you drew a name to get a gift for the Head Start kids, be sure to have it wrapped and at the meeting. Their party is the 18th.

Last Meeting of This Year and it's a Whopper!

Alma Rotary Club Members:



This will be our last meeting of this year and it promises to be a very exciting one. We are pleased to have as our guest speaker Jim Lockhart E.A. of James Lockhart Company in Van Buren. Jim will give us information on changes that could save us money on our 2008 Federal Tax Returns. We look forward to having Jim at our Wednesday’s meeting.



Remember Wednesday will be our “MAKE IT, BAKE IT, OR FAKE IT” Auction. The first half hour of our meeting will be dedicated to our auction. Everyone needs to bring something to be auctioned off if possible. Lonnie Wilson will be our official auctioneer and all proceeds will go to the club. This would be an excellent time to bring a guest or potential new member. Please respond by return e-mail and let me know if you will be attending and if you will be bringing a guest. Thanks.

Dictionary Distribution

Attn: All Alma Rotary Members

We will be handing out the dictionaries to the Alma Third Grade Students Wednesday Dec.17th at 9:30 A.M. at the Alma Intermediate School . Please let me know by return e-mail or call 632-4145 if you would like to help. We will meet in the Intermediate School Office and they will help us find the rooms. Thank you.

Alma Rotary Club Members: For all you members that didn’t attend last weeks meeting you missed a great one. Wolf had a very good program and made everyone that attended wish they could skydive. Check our web site for pictures of last weeks meeting.

The meeting for this week will host Ken Colley as our guest speaker. Ken will speak on the exchange student program and give an update on this years exchange students.
